Why these five?

The opportunity is a valuable customer relationship and a website that helps people take the next step. Revenue is context, not a promise of profit or marketing budget.

HVAC

The clearest practical sales pitch

Jobber’s 2026 survey of 1,050 U.S. home-service owners found that over 60% of HVAC respondents reported at least $500,000 in revenue, and 14% exceeded $2 million. These are survey revenue bands, not profit figures. Jobber 2026 Home Service Trends ↗

What the website should do

Clear service coverage, a visible phone number, short service requests and explanations of repair versus replacement help visitors make progress quickly.

Dentistry

Trust and recurring relationships

ADA reports average 2025 gross billings of $965,660 and average net income of $215,320 per private-practice general dentist. These are per-dentist averages; they do not isolate cosmetic practices. ADA Dental Practice Research ↗

What the website should do

Explain care options, the first visit and payment conversations. Real clinician credentials and consented patient work should replace example content before launch.

Medical aesthetics

A strong fit for distinctive design

AmSpa’s 2024 industry report recap reports average annual revenue of $1,398,833 and says 81% of medical spas operate a single location. This is survey-based revenue, not owner income. AmSpa 2024 report recap ↗

What the website should do

Help people explore concerns and understand the consultation. Provider qualifications, candid expectations and individual suitability matter more than promises.

Design-build

High-value work needs a persuasive portfolio

NAHB reported that its remodeler members had median revenue of $1.7 million in 2024. Its profitability research reports an average net margin of 6.3% for 2024, underscoring that large project values do not imply large profits. NAHB remodeler membership research ↗

What the website should do

Use detailed project stories, a clear process and useful project-fit questions. Better-qualified inquiries can matter more than a higher inquiry count.

Legal services

Clarity makes an unfamiliar process approachable

Clio’s 2025 Legal Trends Report finds that more than half of consumers would turn to the internet for future legal needs. This supports website relevance; it does not rank estate or business law by profitability. Clio 2025 Legal Trends Report ↗

What the website should do

Explain the practice areas, engagement process and initial consultation. Keep the inquiry short and avoid asking for confidential details.

What we studied

These references informed our assessment of content and customer journeys. Observations are qualitative; we have no access to their conversion data.

The shared quality floor

Google’s Core Web Vitals inform performance targets, W3C target-size guidance informs interaction design, and NN/g’s contact-page research supports clear contact details and response expectations. Applying the latter’s corporate/B2B findings to local businesses is a design inference.

Real-world performance depends on final customer content, hosting and integrations. These sources do not establish that a new website will cause a particular revenue increase.

Photography & example content

Businesses, project stories and contact details are fictional. Live launch requires the customer’s approved content, actual qualifications and connected inquiry destination.
